At SBC Marion Food Pantry,  we are happy to help you and your family but we also want you to know some of the basic food pantry guidelines so that we will be able to continue providing this service to our community. Our pantry is designed to help families for approximately one week and is limited to canned goods and boxed staples.  Food pantry visits are limited to one visit per month for each person and address.  Simply remember the week of the month that you come for help, and if you need to come again please wait until that week next month before returning.  We don't consider our food pantry a "free food program" but instead a ministry for serving the physical needs of those Jesus loves.  We also believe that every person has spiritual needs that are equally as important as their physical ones.

While we don't know what you are going through at the moment there is one who does know and He cares deeply about you.  His name is Jesus and He said “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.   Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” (Matthew 1:28-30)  If you would like to know more about how to know more about Jesus and His offer to give you rest we would love to talk to you about that!  You can speak with one of our pastors by calling 993-2338 or by joining us at one of our gathering times.
